BuildRooms

On the eve of ETHSofia’s second edition, BuildRooms, Bulgaria’s first dedicated Web3 hub, officially launched in central Sofia. After months in stealth, the opening drew a vibrant crowd of leading protocols, developers, startups, and community builders from across the region.

The hub is located in Resonator, one of Sofia’s most iconic tech spaces, and now home to a growing Eastern European Web3 movement.

BuildRooms is co-founded by Nick Todorov, CEO of LimeChain, and Sally Meouche-Ghrawi, CEO of 4 Point O (4pto) Labs;  two of the most influential blockchain product and development houses in Europe. Together, LimeChain and 4PTO represent the backbone of Web3 development across the continent, powering some of the biggest ecosystem integrations, grant programs, and L1 & L2 product initiatives in the space.

Supporting the initiative is also BlockBuzz, known for its creative campaigns and grassroots ecosystem marketing.

During the opening keynote, Nick and Sally shared their mission to bring together builders, protocols, and communities across EMEA under one roof, creating a space where ideas can collide and scale.

Sally closed with a story about how one of Amazon’s very early international transactions came from Bulgaria in a rather unconventional way. She used it to highlight the region’s ingenuity, resilience, and potential, urging everyone to ditch cynicism and start believing in collective impact on the global Web3 frontier. This, she emphasized, is only the beginning and the time to build with conviction is now.
