The largest security industry event in Southeast Europe, Adria Security Summit 2025, has officially  opened for its tenth, jubilee edition in Skopje. This two-day gathering brings together more than 2,000 participants and 111  exhibitors from around the world, showcasing the latest solutions in video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, fire protection, physical security, cybersecurity, IT and ICT, automation, and smart technologies.

The Summit aims to  strengthen cooperation, knowledge exchange, and business networking within the security and technology community of  Southeast Europe. It is organized by the professional magazine a&s Adria, a member of the global a&s Security Media Group,  which operates under the portfolio of Messe Frankfurt, Europe’s largest trade fair and congress organizer.

Mahir Hodžić, President of the Adria Security Summit Organizing Committee, emphasized that shared vision, collaboration,  and innovation are key to creating new value in the security industry. “Skopje has become the regional center of the security  industry these days, a place where more than 40 lectures and panels present innovations and best practices, while B2B  meetings foster new business deals and partnerships. I would especially like to thank the presidents of all professional  chambers from across the region for their support, which adds even greater credibility to this event,” said Hodžić, inviting industry representatives to gather again on November 5 and 6 in Bucharest for the first Romanian Security Summit, dedicated  to the security market of Eastern Europe.

Panče Toškovski, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of North Macedonia, highlighted the importance of cooperation  and joint action in today’s complex security environment. “We live in a time that brings new challenges to the security  sector, which makes events like this crucial. They represent a bridge between the private and public sectors, a space where  we meet and work together to build a safer society. Our ministry is fully committed to advancing the sector through  digitalization and modernization,” said Toškovski, adding that such gatherings encourage new collaborations and the  exchange of best practices across the region.

Verica Mileska Stefanovska, President of the Chamber of Private Security of the Republic of North Macedonia, expressed her  satisfaction that Skopje is hosting the region’s largest event in the field of security. “We must work together to improve  safety and provide common responses to modern security challenges. Over the next two days, take the opportunity to  meet, connect, and contribute to greater public safety together. I wish the organizers of Adria Security Summit many more  years of success,” said Mileska Stefanovska.

Leo Levit, Chair of the ONVIF Steering Committee, a global body that brings together security equipment manufacturers to  develop standards aimed at increasing the interoperability of security devices, emphasized the importance of the Summit as  a platform that connects professionals and drives industry growth. “This is a true platform where experts from across the  region come together. Such events play a vital role in strengthening cooperation and knowledge exchange within the  security community. ONVIF works along the same lines — creating a global platform that enables vendors to collaborate  and jointly contribute to a safer and more connected world,” said Levit.

In addition to its extensive exhibition area, Adria Security Summit 2025 features a comprehensive conference program with  expert panels, lectures, and presentations by leading international and regional specialists. A key novelty of this year’s edition  is Adria Smart City, a new platform organized in parallel with the Summit and dedicated to smart solutions for urban  management. More information about the event is available at the official website www.adriasecuritysummit.com.
